Call for Applications: Strengthening Digital Security and Resilience of Women-Led Organizations in Benue State
In today’s world, ensuring the digital security and resilience of online activities is crucial for the success and sustainability of civil society organisations. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by these organizations, we are excited to announce a specialized training program on Digital Security and Resilience. This training aims to equip Women-led Organisations with the essential skills and knowledge to protect their digital assets and enhance their organization’s resilience against cyber threats.
About the Training:
The training aims to empower women-led organisations by enhancing their digital security and privacy compliance practices. A 2-days capacity-building program will be conducted for nominated staff members of selected organisations, to enhance their knowledge and skills in digital security and privacy compliance.
Who Should Apply:
This training is specifically designed for Women-led organizations in Benue State who are committed to improving their digital security practices and enhancing their organization’s resilience.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be a member of the Benue Non-Governmental Organisations Network (BENGONET) or Benue Civil Society organisations (CSO-B)
- Must be a Women-led organisation
- Have a need for digital skills in organisational operations
- Be able to commit to the duration of the training program
Note:
- The training programme will take place within the period of 22nd July to 9th August 2024. Precise dates will be communicated with selected participants
- The training will take place in Makurdi, Benue State.
- Organisations outside Makurdi are advised to apply. However, accommodation will not be provided for participants.
- Participants’ local transportation expense will be reimbursed.
