COMPAORE Marie-Pierre
COMPAORE Marie-Pierre holds a Master’s degree in Development, Specialty Environmental Management, from Senghor University of Alexandria (Egypt) and a Master’s degree in Geography obtained from Joseph Ki-Zerbo University (Burkina Faso). Its areas of expertise are environmental and natural resource management, adaptation to climate change, food security, local development, land use planning, waste management and project management. Thanks to her professional background through private structures and non-governmental organizations, she has several years of professional experience in the management of projects/programs relating to gender and the environment. Marie-Pierre COMPAORE is currently the coordinator of WEP Burkina Faso.
From the point of view of her personal skills, she has a great capacity for leadership, analysis and synthesis. Her diligent nature, her rigor in her work and her sense of organization make her a methodical person in everything she does. In addition, she has a great ability to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment.
