CAPACITY DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP – KATSINA STATE

The project team for our PVE intervention based in Katsina State North West Nigeria spent last week hosting a Capacity Development and Onboarding workshop for the team and our partners Murna Foundation.  The workshop which was held at the Katsina Tourist Lodge, Katsina from 7th to 11th February, 2022 had in attendance project team members made up of staff from WEP, our partners Murna Foundation and a representative of our donor, GCERF the National Coordinator for Nigeria Ms. Yetunde Adegoke built the capacities of participants on various issues related to the project such as project interventions, project management, financial management/retirement, the do no harm principle, communications, advocacy, M&E, operational security risk management, community engagement, the concept of vulnerability, rights protection and reporting. This workshop is to pave way for the commencement of full implementation of project activities in 20 communities across 4 LGs (Dutsin-Ma, Funtua, Jibia and Musawa) of the state.
