CALL FOR ENUMERATORS
Project Title: NORTHWEST CLIMATE-PEACE HUBS: A CLIMATE-SECURITY APPROACH TO CONFLICT PREVENTION
Location: Jibia LGA, Katsina State & Illela LGA, Sokoto State
We are seeking dedicated and qualified enumerators to join our data collection team for the Northwest Climate-Peace Hubs project. This initiative aims to explore the intersections of climate change and security to develop strategies for conflict prevention in the Northwest region of Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend training sessions to understand the survey objectives, methodology, and ethical considerations.
- Conduct household surveys in designated areas, ensuring coverage and representation
- Review completed surveys for completeness and accuracy before submission.
- Maintain open communication with the implementing partners and supervisors regarding progress, and challenges.
- Coordinate with local authorities or community leaders, if necessary, to facilitate smooth survey implementation.
Selection Criteria:
- Diploma or degree in a relevant field with a minimum of two years of experience for diploma holders or one year for degree holders.
- Experience in humanitarian assistance is advantageous.
- Experience in data collection and statistics is advantageous.
- Proficiency in data collection tools such as Kobo Collect, ODK, or Survey CTO.
- Strong interpersonal skills, cultural competency, problem-solving abilities, and good listening skills.
