Nguavese Tracy Ogbonna (B.Sc) Mass Communication works as a Program Officer for Women Environmental Programme (WEP). Her job description entails planning and executing programs in the area of WASH, Climate Change (Adaptation/Mitigation), Renewable Energy, capacity development and peace building.
She has over 20 years of work experience spanning project management, documentation, research, reporting, sales and marketing, administrative work as well as conference delegate management. Her special focus as a development worker is creating effective communication strategies for development interventions based on the premise that communities need to own their development priorities for sustainable development. This she believes can be achieved by working with the vision of WEP which is to create a society where the environmental, economic, social and political rights of women and youths are protected.
